Dental Implants   Nitrous Gass (Laughig Gass)   Orthodontics

My Staff and I are committed to delivering conscientious, quality dental care which we personalize to the individual needs of our patients. We pride ourselves in offering a comfortable, relaxed atmosphere where we provide dental services with an option of nitrous oxide, a form of sedation dentistry otherwise known as “laughing gas”. In addition to traditional dental services, we offer cosmetic dentistry in the form of in-office and home bleaching systems, cosmetic bonding, porcelain veneers, all-ceramic crowns and dental implants.

Children are some of our favorite people! We take the time to let your child get to know us. Your child's first dental visit, recommended at the age of 2 or 3 years, usually involves a tour of the office and a ride in the dental chair. Your child's first visit will focus on making their first experience to the dentist a positive one. Children need to develop their own attitude about dentistry.  Try not to impose your feelings on your child.  Treat the dental visit as mildly as you would a visit to the grocery store.  An innocent phrase such as “it won’t hurt” will only leave your child remembering the “hurt” portion of the phrase.  Feel free to consult us to describe any dental procedure used in the office.  We will be happy to help you and your child toward a healthy dental future and a healthy dental lifestyle.

We place two types of implants: Regular Dental Implants and Mini Dental Implants. Mini-dental implants, as a modern alternative to regular dental implants, best serve patients who require stabilization of the lower jar prosthesis, pre-molar teeth (should a bone graft fail), small teeth and incisors, or a missing tooth that was located in a narrow area. A small number of mini dental implants are FDA-approved for the purpose of prosthesis stabilization.

Dental implants are designed to provide a foundation for replacement teeth that look, feel, and function like natural teeth. The dental implant is the new “root” for a crown that your dentist ultimately builds upon the implant. The person who has lost teeth regains the ability to eat virtually anything and can smile with confidence, knowing that teeth appear natural and that facial contours will be preserved. The implants themselves are tiny titanium posts that are placed into the jawbone where teeth are missing. The bone bonds with the titanium, creating a strong foundation for artificial teeth. In addition, implants can help preserve facial structure, preventing the bone deterioration which occurs when teeth are missing. Actually, in osteoporotic women, dental implants have been found to prevent loss of bone in the jaws.

To Provide you with a better understanding of dental implants, we have provided the following multimedia presentations. Many common questions pertaining to dental implants are discussed here. Macromedia Flash Player required for viewing the presentation.
